Odenberg

ODENBERG was established in 1968 with one goal: to develop and deliver superior solutions for the food processing industry.

In the 1970s, ODENBERG developed the first steam peeler, an innovative technology, with the first system of this type being sold two years later in North America. Since then, ODENBERG has become a leading supplier of steam peeling technology, with 75 per cent of all French fries worldwide now being peeled in its machines.

During the late 1980s, ODENBERG began developing sorting solutions, initially a harvester-mounted tomato system, an application it still dominates today. A number of optical sorting and grading machines followed in the 1990s, the big breakthrough coming with the award-winning Titan in 2005.

Today, ODENBERG designs and supplies innovative world-class sorting, peeling and process analytics solutions. It is particularly prominent in whole product sorting, with significant advantages in the fresh potato and carrot sectors.
